And they're very popular. They have hundreds of thousands of stories being added every week.

So the chances are very good that just about every woman you know has read erotica at some point...

It may be classy, it may be mostly romantic. Or it may be really dirty, kinky stuff.

There's stories on every topic and theme imaginable.

I'm scrolling by stories about strippers, incest, aliens, gangbangs...

And maybe most surprisingly -- tons of stories about women being romantically overcome, taken, by a man.

And keep in mind, most of these stories are written by women.

So now I'm wondering -- why are so many women reading and writing these stories?

What is it about these romance novels that appeal to women so much and make them gobble them up one after the other?
